
A Southern classic gets a citrusy twist. The julep has long been a refreshing favourite, especially on hot afternoons, and here we’ve added a bright pop of flavour with our Yuzu & Mandarin Seltz Drops. The result is a crisp, fragrant cocktail that balances bourbon’s warmth with cool mint and a zing of citrus.
Ingredients
- 60ml bourbon
- 15ml Simple Sugar Syrup
- 6 drops Yuzu & Mandarin Seltz Drops
- 10 fresh mint leaves
- Crushed ice
- Sprig of mint, to garnish
Method
- Lightly muddle the mint leaves in a sturdy glass or julep cup with the Simple Sugar Syrup. You want to release the oils without breaking the leaves apart too much.
- Add the bourbon and Yuzu & Mandarin Seltz Drops.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice and stir gently.
- Top with more crushed ice.
- Garnish with a fresh mint sprig.
